Desert Ridge Resort
What's this you ask? This is a sideways photo of the view outside of my hotel room at The Marriott in North Phoenix. A group of us from Clear Channel Radio's Tucson cluster were recently sent to attend a stellar seminar on how to write compelling copy for radio commercials. As a student of Communication, this was fascinating material.
Thanks to Dick Orkin and the rest of the staff from the famous Radio Ranch...brilliant minds indeed. If you turn your head sideways you should get a better view of it. Otherwise email me and I'll be happy to send you the rotated version.

My Hurricane Refugee
As many of you know Erin is a refugee from New Orleans. Over the Labor Day weekend, I was on a mission to go and rescue her in Houston. My limited blog entries reflect my initial desire to digitize this experience, however, as time passed I realized my energy was better utilized in caring for Erin.
Refugees in any situation experience emotional trauma on one scale or another. It was out of love and respect that my words regarding her situation were limited.
What I can tell you is that we had the BEST DAMN CATFISH this side of the Mississippi while staying with her grandparents just outside of San Antonio...
