My Hurricane Refugee
As many of you know Erin is a refugee from New Orleans. Over the Labor Day weekend, I was on a mission to go and rescue her in Houston. My limited blog entries reflect my initial desire to digitize this experience, however, as time passed I realized my energy was better utilized in caring for Erin.
Refugees in any situation experience emotional trauma on one scale or another. It was out of love and respect that my words regarding her situation were limited.
What I can tell you is that we had the BEST DAMN CATFISH this side of the Mississippi while staying with her grandparents just outside of San Antonio...
